I am also an avid nature enthusiaist, especially birds, plants, and lepidoptera. Literary Translation
I studied German language and literature and Spanish language and literatue as a college undergraduate, worked at a publishing house for 7 years, and then went on to complete an MA in comparative literature and a PhD in translation studies. This has resulted in a strong foundation in literary history and criticism with a focus on German and Latin American literatures. The language and style of your text will get the utmost attention as you bring them to the English-language market, yet will also be within the context of their German- or Spanish-langauge origins.
